Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: June 2026
We believe in full transparency about how QRForge makes money, and Canadian law requires it. This disclosure explains our advertising and affiliate relationships.
What "affiliate links" means
Some links on QRForge are affiliate links. If you click one and then sign up for or purchase a paid third-party service (for example, a dynamic QR code platform with editable links and scan analytics), we may earn a commission. This comes at no extra cost to you — you pay the same price you would have paid otherwise.
Our commitment to you
- The free tools stay free. Affiliate relationships never affect the price or availability of our core QR generators, which are free forever.
- Clear separation. Affiliate and paid recommendations are always shown in a distinct, labeled box that is separate from the free tool — never disguised as a tool button or feature.
- Honesty first. We only recommend a paid service when the free static code genuinely will not meet a need (such as editing a code after printing or tracking scans). Our opinions are our own and based on real evaluation.
- Per-page disclosure. Wherever an affiliate link appears, a disclosure appears right next to it, in line with the Competition Bureau of Canada's guidance on disclosing material connections.
Advertising
We also display advertising through networks such as Google AdSense. Ads are clearly labeled "Advertisement" and appear only below our tools and within articles — never above or inside the generator itself. We do not control which specific ads are shown. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are handled.
