QRForge is a free QR code generator built on one simple idea: making a QR code should be instant, private, and free — with no account, no watermark, and no expiry date. Too many "free" QR tools lock the basics behind a signup, stamp a logo on your code, or quietly disable it unless you pay. QRForge does none of that.

What makes it different

• Free forever. Static QR codes — URLs, Wi-Fi, vCards, menus, email, phone, SMS, and text — are free to create and use, including commercially.
• No signup, ever. You never have to create an account to generate or download a code.
• Codes never expire. Static codes encode your data directly, so they keep working as long as your destination does.
• Private by design. Every code is generated in your browser. The content you encode is never sent to or stored on our servers.

Who runs it

QRForge is an independent project run by a small, Canada-based team that builds practical web tools. We keep the site free by showing a limited number of clearly-labeled ads and by occasionally recommending paid services for advanced needs like editable, trackable codes. Those recommendations are always separated from the free tool and disclosed honestly — see our Affiliate Disclosure.

How we make money

We believe in being upfront. QRForge earns revenue in two ways: display advertising, shown only below the tool and within articles (never over the generator itself), and affiliate commissions when a reader chooses a paid third-party service through a clearly-marked link. Neither affects the price you pay — the core tools stay free forever.
